SITDEF, the International Defense and Disaster Prevention Technology Exhibition, is organized by Peru’s Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces. Since its first edition in 2007, SITDEF has established itself as one of the region’s most relevant events in the field of defense and security technology.

The event showcases defense, security, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence technologies, while also promoting the modernization of the country’s law enforcement forces. 

From Peru, participants included the Peruvian Navy, the Peruvian Air Force, the Peruvian Army, the National Police of Peru, as well as the National Institute of Civil Defense, the Army Weapons and Ammunition Factory (FAME), the Navy’s Industrial Services (SIMA), and the Peruvian Maintenance Service (SEMAN).
